Every Bloxx model comes with the following essential features as standard:

Examples of commonly used IM clients that you can block are AOL IM, MSN Instant Messenger, Yahoo and Google Talk.

Examples of frequently used P2P networks that you can choose to block are Bittorrent, E-Donkey, E-Mule, Kazaa, Limewire and Gnutella.

You can choose to block or allow all IM and P2P applications or you can customise access to specific types.

Some of the file extensions you can choose to block are Executable files, Audio files, Video files, Image files, Document files and Archive files. It is also possible to add your own file extensions to a user-defined list, meaning you can block certain file extensions but not the entire category.
